Intern position: Supervised learning and skills applications in a small, academic library environment. One on one supervision with the Interim Director. Experience all phases of an academic library including cataloging, information literacy instruction, web page development, individualized research with students, circulation management, collection development, and much more. The qualities that we are looking for in an intern candidate include: adaptability; creativity; flexibility; and, spontaneity.

At the end of the internship, expected outcomes include: demonstrate a knowledge and application of cataloging principles; development of basic online instruction modules and leading in-person and remote information literacy instruction; demonstrate a basic understanding of presenting information via the Internet; and demonstrate the ability to monitor  and mentor student library associates.
