Position Description
The Email Marketing Specialist will work collaboratively with the Assistant Dean for Engineering Recruitment to curate outgoing communications for recruitment events at the School of Engineering. They will develop all of the promotional/communications material that will be sent to prospective and admitted students.

Overview of Projects and Responsibilities
Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns
Ensure design and layouts of emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly
Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling
Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
Manage email lists: compile and purge email lists, secure email databases for future campaigns
Aid in additional digital marketing efforts

Requirements
Demonstrated experience in public relations, communications, marketing, sales, or graphic design. Relevant internships, part-time work, or volunteer experiences are valid.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal & written.
Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision.
Levelheaded problem solver with a professional, service-oriented attitude.
Superb organizational and tracking skills with great attention to detail.
Adaptable, dependable and responsible.
Proficient in Google Suites (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Ability to use the Internet to do light research – Google Analytics a plus.
Working knowledge of social media and email campaign applications
