Title: Event Operations & Marketing Intern
Duration: 3 months (flexible based on performance and school requirements)
Hours: 10–20 hours/week (includes some evenings/weekends for events)
Compensation: Paid with stipend $1000; perks include behind-the-scenes access to luxury events, professional development, and potential for paid roles.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Outreach
  • Assist in finding and contacting potential clients via email or LinkedIn
  • Help manage and grow the Brand Ambassador Program
  • Research local events and partnership opportunities in South Jersey
  • Schedule and coordinate social media posts (optional based on skill)

Client Communications

  • Respond to inbound inquiries via email or social DMs
  • Send follow-up emails, confirmations, and event prep checklists
  • Help write cold outreach or press emails

Event Coordination

  • Attend select events to help manage staff, setup, and client relations
  • Act as a liaison between bartenders, vendors, and the host
  • Ensure client expectations are being met on event day

Admin Support

  • Help track leads, invoices, and client pipelines
  • Organize event documents and team schedules
  • Support the hiring or onboarding process for part-time staff

Learning Objectives

  • Learn the operations of a service-based events business
  • Gain skills in email marketing, lead generation, and CRM use
  • Build confidence in client and vendor communication
  • Experience the fast-paced world of event execution
