Position Overview

ReviewThe IT Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the IT Project Management Office. This position requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The coordinator will assist in preparing executive-level presentations, organizing project meetings, and updating portfolio dashboards, while ensuring smooth communication and execution across teams.

A Day In The Life

  • PMO Administration: Support project governance and budgeting processes. Support PMO leadership in resource planning, onboarding, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Presentation & Reporting: Develop and maintain high-quality PowerPoint presentations for portfolio and project meetings and leadership updates. Create and manage Excel-based reports, trackers, and dashboards for IT initiatives and monthly leadership updates.
  • Center of Excellence Tools: Maintain repository of PMO COE tools and templates. Support continuous improvement of COE materials.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external vendors for PMO-related activities.

You’ll Come With

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Licenses/Certification/Registration: None

Experience: Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, MS Project) preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
