The James B. Carey Library, a subject-specialized academic library at the School of Management and Labor Relations of Rutgers University, seeks a highly motivated intern to support the Library Director with everyday tasks and special projects for the Fall 2021 semester. Intern duties and responsibilities include answering patron questions; covering the main circulation desk; preparing educational materials; and assisting on special projects, such as archival work, serials inventory and general organization of library collections. Intern will obtain hands-on library experience in all facets and operations of a subject-specialized, academic library. Intern should be prepared to work exclusively on-site. The library is located at 50 Labor Center Way in the Labor Education Center, Cook Campus.
