Library Assistant – Circulation

The Plainfield Public Library is looking for (2 positions) Library Assistant to work in our Circulation Department. This is a part-time position of approximately 12 hours per week covering evening, weekend, and daytime hours. Strong customer service skills and a High School Diploma or equivalent are required. Familiarity with Workflows (Sirsi) is preferred but training will be provided. Bilingual (Spanish) is highly desired. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

• Paid Sick Time available 90 days from hire date
• Monday to Friday, evening and Saturday availability
• High School or equivalent (Required)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
