Our team creates media content for children and younger to experience our INCREDIBLE characters, AMAZING adventures and MIGHTY Marvel videos that the whole family will love!

We are looking for passionate and driven intern to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced environment of digital entertainment production and digital content distribution. You will work closely with our team, learning the ins and outs of video and digital content creation. From concept to execution to release. If selected for this role, you will report to the Vice President of Media Distribution, Brand & Franchise.

What You Will Do

Support the creative production process to gain a complete understanding of content creation and the collaborative nature of our projects.
Use Adobe Premiere and Photoshop to assist in video editing and YouTube channel asset creation as well as other compelling content for the Marvel HQ YouTube channel.
Aid the team with comparative research analysis to understand YouTube Kids market trends, audience preferences, and competitive content.
Deep dive into Marvel HQ’s content archives to find opportunities to repurpose existing material to capitalize on YouTube’s updated practices.
Curate engaging content for YouTube Shorts.
Catalog legacy animated footage and assets, helping inform future content for the Marvel HQ channel.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere and Photoshop
An understanding and interest in the YouTube platform and products.
Excellent research, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

A keen interest in the children and family’s entertainment industry, with a passion for Marvel’s characters and storylines.
Copywriting skills to create compelling and engaging content that resonates with our target audience
Creative problem solver with attention to detail and a willingness to learn!

Education

Undergraduate students in their junior or senior year (or recently graduated within the past six months) pursuing a bachelor’s degree in media production, film, television or related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

Additional Information

The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 through August 2024.
Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm EST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the New York, NY area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
