
Morris County Mental Health Facility
In this role, you will assist the Medical Staff Librarian with a research project focused on violence, risk assessment and prevention in mental health. Tasks will include literature searches, interlibrary loan, and data entry. Additionally, there will be opportunities to assist with circulation, outreach, and other library-related initiatives.
Requirements:
- Participants must be 18 years of age
- Must be skilled with standard office platforms, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with PsycINFO and Docline a plus
- Must handle sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with privacy policies and regulations
- High level data management and entry skills, including the ability to maintain and improve organizational systems
- Accurate record keeping
- High level written and communication skills
- Ability to work professionally and effectively with all staff
This opportunity requires on-site work in Morris Plains, New Jersey. Available work hours are Monday-Friday, from 8:30-4:00 pm. Prior to beginning work, volunteers will be required to fulfill Human Resources screening requirements.
