Scientific Communications Specialist / Technical Writer (Contract Services)
We are seeking a highly skilled and detailed oriented scientific communications specialist to write white papers and journal manuscripts that detail scientific and clinical research findings. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual wit technical writing experience and a passion for groundbreaking research.This is a contracted service opportunity. We are looking for someone who has experience in:
●Interpreting study results and collaborating with researchers and clinicians in the development of high-quality scientific communications content,such as conference proceedings and/or journal manuscripts:
●Writing scientific manuscripts,ensuring accuracy,clarity,and adherence to journal guidelines
●Conducting literature reviews and gather relevant scientific information to support manuscript development
●Co-developing with scientists figures,tables,and other visual aids that effectively communicate research findings
●Ensuring that all manuscripts comply with ethical and scientific integrity guidelines
●Leading the submission process to peer-reviewed journals,including formatting,proofreading,and adhering to submission requirements
Requirements:
●BS degree(advanced-masters,PhD-degree preferred)in a scientific discipline such as biology,chemistry,life sciences,or a related field
●Proven experience writing peer-reviewed manuscripts on behalf of others(a portfolio of previous scientific writing work,and 2-3 years of minimum experience are required)
●Clinical and scientific acumen for the analysis and display of data
●Excellent written and verbal communication skills,without standing attention to detail
●Strong understanding of scientific research methodologies,experimental design,and data analysis
●Familiarity with scientific publishing processes and knowledge of peer-reviewed journal requirements
●Proficient in using word-processing and collaboration tools(experience with Google Suite preferred)
●Ability to quickly grasp complex scientific concepts and translate them into clear and concise language for diverse audiences
●Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
●Ability to interact professionally with all organization al levels and proactively raise issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
