We are looking for bold, curious, and ambitious individuals to join our intern class this summer! Whether you’re a budding journalist, a digital storyteller, a social media whiz, or a data-driven strategist, this is your chance to gain hands-on experience at one of the most iconic news organizations in the country.

Internship Areas

Opportunities vary, but our interns may work on teams including:

  • Editorial – Sports, Hard News, Business, Lifestyle, Entertainment, Page Six, Decider
  • Video & Photo – Capturing and producing dynamic visual content
  • Digital Production – Bringing stories to life online
  • Social Media & Audience Engagement – Keeping readers informed and engaged across platforms
  • Tech & Data – Enhancing our digital experience through innovation
  • Marketing & Advertising Operations – Driving brand growth and partnerships

What You Can Expect

  • Full-time hours (40 hours per week) from early June through early/mid-August (June 2nd – August 8th)
  • Real-world newsroom experience alongside top industry professionals

  • Exposure to multiple departments, giving you a well-rounded media experience

  • You’ll have the chance to attend workshops and seminars where you’ll learn about different careers in journalism, get an inside look at how various departments operate, and even take part in our resume and LinkedIn workshop to help you sharpen your professional presence!

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled college (BA/MA) students or recent graduates
  • Passion for news, media, and storytelling
  • Strong writing, communication, and research skills
  • Ability to adapt and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with social media, digital tools, and emerging media trends (a plus!)
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a willingness to learn
