Did you want or need credit for your internship?

If you are eligible… you can register for an internship course in your major:

Find out what you need to be eligible here:

Communication Major?   http://commintern.rutgers.edu/

Information Technology and Informatics Major?   http://comminfo.rutgers.edu/information-technology-and-informatics-major/internship.html

Journalism & Media Studies Major?   http://comminfo.rutgers.edu/journalism-and-media-studies-major/internship-program.html

Not yet eligible or ready to take an internship in your major?

You can do an internship for credit through University Career Services:

Check out the Rutgers Internship and Co-op Program (RICP):    http://careers.rutgers.edu/page.cfm?section_ID=8&page_id=281

Remember, you can do an internship for experience without credits (which you have to pay for).

Learning about potential fields and gaining skills for your resume may be enough.

It does not have to be “for credit” for an internship to have value on your resume or LinkedIn Profile.

Graduate Students can earn credits for internships too.

MCIS Students see course listings for internship options, for example
